At noon Central time on July 18th, the Tau Beta Sigma Alumni Association completed its biennial elections for the TBSAA Executive Council. Every two years, three positions are up for election to the Executive Council so there are always six members in the national leadership.
Marissa Archuleta
Please help us welcome Marissa Archuleta, Life member of the Delta Kappa chapter at Kansas State University, to the TBSAA Executive Council. Marissa will serve a 4-year term ending at the National Convention in 2023.
Marissa currently lives in Kansas City and works at Pinnacle Gymnastics where she is an assistant preschool teacher, coaches gymnastics and ninja, and also coaches various camps. She works with children from the ages of 2-12 years old.
Marissa was initiated into the Delta Kappa chapter on December 4, 2010. While active she served as the Midwest District Vice President for Membership. While at K-State Marissa was a member of many music ensembles and graduated with a degree in music education. In her free time she likes to do gymnastics, play soccer, go salsa dancing, and hangout with her friends.
Open Positions
Since there was only one person elected to the Executive Council during the regular elections, the TBSAA will call for applications to fill the vacancies. The call for applications will go out following the close of national convention. Details will be provided at that time for the timeline to fill the open positions.
